Great North Swim 2012
The Great North Swim is the UK's biggest mass participation open water swim. The course is one mile in the stunning Lake Windermere. PLEASE NOTE: this event takes place over three days from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 June depending on your distance. The 2 mile waves will take place on Friday and the 1 mile waves will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
Join our team and help us in the fight to beat cancer. With your help we can continue to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.

Come and say hello to the Sports Team on race day at our marquee. Have a well deserved rest and refuel and learn about how the money you've raised is helping to beat cancer.
Support our swimmers
Volunteer on the day and help to cheer our swimmers on at the Great North Swim. We'll provide everything you need to make a racket, we just need your help providing the manpower! Please email sportsteam@cancer.org.uk for more information and to sign up.
